Where: For privacy reasons, the event location will be emailed to you on confirmation of payment.

Details:

If you're already a member of HalfOurDeen.com, you'll receive a PayPal payment request. Once payment is made, you'll receive an email within 48hrs confirming your seat at the event. The only people that will know you're at the event are people at the event.

Once you arrive at the event, you'll be assigned a table based on the survey questions you answered. Unlike some other events which basically put everyone with everyone, we are trying to put you with people that you can actually match with. Of course, we can not guarantee who will be attracted to who since beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Unique Activities: I have come up with a list of cool activities, which will hopefully make the event feel more natural InshAllah. The goal is to make people feel comfortable so it won't feel like a single's event but more like a fun get together.

Baba Ali Hosting: I'll be hosting the event myself InshAllah so I can keep things light. I hope by having a younger person that many people are familiar with will ease any possible tension in the room. Plus having a little humor here and there won't hurt :)

Payment is NOT due upon registration, but due only upon Invitation to the Offline event. Applicants will be screened based soley on compatibility with other members attending the event. No other criteria is taken into consideration. The event location will be emailed to those invited the week of.

Refunds can be claimed before the registration deadline. With respect to event planning, no refunds will be given to invited registrants after the posted event deadline. Walkins will not be accepted at the event. You have 72 hours to pay for the event once invited. If we do not receive payment by then , your invite will be forfeited to the next eligible registrant. InshAllah we pray and hope that Allah rewards your efforts and guides you to who is best for you.

The Process

Fill out the survey and take the personality test to register for the event. All regsitrants will go through a filtration process to determine the likliness that they will find someone compatible at the event. For example if you are looking to marry someone between the ages 35-40 and most of our registrants are under 35, it would not be worth your time.

Once we determine the compatibility ratios for all our registratnts, we group them with like people . We then send out invites to those who made it to the final list of brothers and sisters. If the invited do not pay within the time specified to reserve their seat, the next most compatible registrant is sent the invite. Register early to ensure you get in.

Instead of just playing musical chairs like other events, Half Our Deen Offline takes a revolutionary approach at Muslim Matchmaking by engaging people in fun and interesting activities.

The event is hosted by YouTube sensation Baba Ali.

Half Our Deen Offline is an exclusive event and the only way to get a seat is by invitation only. Once an interested person completes their registration for Half Our Deen Offline, their answers will be reviewed. If approved, they will receive an invitation and instructions to complete their payment to reserve their seat at the event. In order to keep the event organized and balanced, seating is limited and based on a first-come basis.

One of the unique features of Half Our Deen Offline is that everyone at the event can be found on Half Our Deen Online. So if you find someone interesting and would rather learn more about them before showing interest, you can view their profile online to see your compatibility percentage with them. If you find someone locally online and want to see if there is chemistry, you can come to Half Our Deen Offline.

Maybe have like all the reds stand up, then all the yellows, then the blues, then the greens. So we can all see who is who. It would make it a little less awkward trying to look at their badge. But awesome tests, 100 points for that.

  • There were several things I enjoyed about the event! I liked how we were grouped and seated on tables. I enjoyed the food. The set-up was mashaAllah beautiful! The personality test was great! The drawing game was probably one of the best things. Every planned activity was wonderful. And how the HOD staff was walking around and joking around with us, initiating conversations. You all created a wonderful atmosphere mashAllah.
