Welcome to the Half Our Deen Muslim Matrimonial website. Half Our Deen is not a dating website but rather a site made specifically for serious Muslims who are looking to get married. We strongly advise our members to follow the rules of Islam (Shariah) when interacting with one another. If you, a brother, are interested in speaking to a Muslim sister, we advise contacting her Wali and asking permission first. We also advise Muslim parents to sign up on behalf of their sons or daughters, so they can work together in finding the best suitable match. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you agree to follow the rules of Islam when dealing with the opposite gender. We are doing our best to make sure we can provide a halal environment for Muslim men and women to find potential spouses. For this reason, we do not have chat rooms where people can publicly socialize about topics not related to marriage, nor do we have options of "sending flirts" like other Muslim Marriage sites. As a reminder to all of us, Allah (swt) is watching all our actions online and offline.

Members are granted permission to visit this Web site and use the tools and services provided only if such usage is for personal, non-commercial use, that our copyright and other intellectual property rights are not violated by member, and that member does not violate the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN TO REFUND REQUESTS AFTER THE 48HR DEADLINE FROM THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. HALFOURDEEN.COM MAY TERMINATE YOUR ACCESS TO THE SITE AND/OR YOUR MEMBERSHIP FOR ANY REASON EFFECTIVE UPON SENDING THE REFUND REQUEST TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU PROVIDE IN YOUR APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP OR SUCH OTHER EMAIL ADDRESS AS YOU MAY LATER PROVIDE TO HALFOURDEEN.COM. IF HALFOURDEEN.COM TERMINATES YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE HALFOURDEEN.COM SERVICE BECAUSE YOU HAVE BREACHED THE AGREEMENT, YOU WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND OF ANY UNUSED SUBSCRIPTION FEES.

B. General. HalfOurDeen.com bills you through an online account for use of the Service. You agree to pay HalfOurDeen.com all charges at the prices then in effect for any use of the Service by you or other persons (including your agents) using your Billing Account, and you authorize HalfOurDeen.com to charge your chosen payment provider (your "Payment Method") for the Service. You agree to make payment using that selected Payment Method. HalfOurDeen.com reserves the right to correct any errors or mistakes that it makes even if it has already requested or received payment.

C. Recurring Billing. Both subscription plans to the Service consist of an initial charge, followed by recurring period charges as agreed to by you. By entering into this Agreement, you acknowledge that your subscription has a recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. HALFOURDEEN.COM WILL SUBMIT PERIODIC CHARGES (E.G., MONTHLY/ANNUALLY) WITHOUT FURTHER AUTHORIZATION FROM YOU, UNTIL YOU PROVIDE PRIOR NOTICE (CONFIRMED BY CANCELLING "MY ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > CANCEL" UPON REQUEST BY HALFOURDEEN.COM) THAT YOU HAVE TERMINATED THIS AUTHORIZATION OR WISH TO CHANGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD. SUCH NOTICE WILL NOT AFFECT CHARGES SUBMITTED BEFORE HALFOURDEEN.COM REASONABLY COULD ACT. TO TERMINATE YOUR AUTHORIZATION OR CHANGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD, GO TO MY ACCOUNT > SETTINGS.

D. Current Information Required. YOU MUST PROVIDE CURRENT, COMPLETE AND ACCURATE INFORMATION FOR YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT. YOU MUST PROMPTLY UPDATE ALL INFORMATION TO KEEP YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT CURRENT, COMPLETE AND ACCURATE (SUCH AS A CHANGE IN BILLING ADDRESS, CREDIT CARD NUMBER, OR CREDIT CARD EXPIRATION DATE), AND YOU MUST PROMPTLY NOTIFY HALFOURDEEN.COM IF YOUR PAYMENT METHOD IS CANCELED (E.G., FOR LOSS OR THEFT) OR IF YOU BECOME AWARE OF A POTENTIAL BREACH OF SECURITY, SUCH AS THE UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURE OR USE OF YOUR USER NAME OR PASSWORD. CHANGES TO SUCH INFORMATION CAN BE MADE AT ACCOUNT > SETTINGS. IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE HALFOURDEEN.COM ANY OF THE FOREGOING INFORMATION, YOU AGREE THAT HALFOURDEEN.COM MAY CONTINUE CHARGING YOU FOR ANY USE OF THE SERVICE UNDER YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT UNLESS YOU HAVE TERMINATED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION FOR THE SERVICE (CONFIRMED BY CANCELLING "MY ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > CANCEL" UPON REQUEST BY HALFOURDEEN.COM).

E. Payment Method. The terms of your payment will be based on your Payment Method and may be determined by agreements between you and the financial institution, credit card issuer or other provider of your chosen Payment Method (the "Payment Method Provider"). If HalfOurDeen.com does not receive payment from your Payment Method Provider, you agree to pay all amounts due on your Billing Account upon demand.

F. Change in Amount Authorized. If the amount to be charged to your Billing Account varies from the amount you preauthorized (other than due to the imposition or change in the amount of state sales taxes), you have the right to receive, and HalfOurDeen.com shall provide, notice of the amount to be charged and the date of the charge at least 10 days before the scheduled date of the transaction. Any agreement you have with your Payment Method Provider will govern your use of your Payment Method. You agree that HalfOurDeen.com may accumulate charges incurred and submit them as one or more aggregate charges during or at the end of each billing cycle.

G. Auto-renewal. Your HalfOurDeen.com subscription will be automatically extended for successive renewal periods of the same duration as the subscription term originally selected, at the then-current non-promotional subscription rate. If you would like to deactivate or cancel your subscription you may do so (by going to MY ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > CANCEL ACCOUNT) within 28 days of your next recurring billing cycle, or you may use your subscription until the end of your then-current subscription term; your subscription will not be renewed after your then-current term expires (provided you cancelled your account by going to MY ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > CANCEL ACCOUNT) However, you won't be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period.

H. Reaffirmation of Authorization. Your non-termination or continued use of the Service reaffirms that HalfOurDeen.com is authorized to charge your Payment Method. HalfOurDeen.com may submit those charges for payment and you will be responsible for such charges. This does not waive HalfOurDeen.com's right to seek payment directly from you. Your charges may be payable in advance, in arrears, per usage, or as otherwise described when you initially subscribed to the Service.

I. Free Trials and Other Promotions. Any free trial or other promotion that provides member-level access to the Service must be used within the specified time of the trial. You must cancel your subscription before the end of the trial period in order to avoid being charged a subscription fee. If you cancel prior to the end of the trial period and are inadvertently charged for a subscription, please contact us by visiting our Help/Support page and submitting a ticket, to have the charges reversed.

2. ACCESSING AND REGISTERING ON OUR WEBSITE
A. Cost. There is a cost to register and use our Muslims Marriage Website and our services. If you are browsing through the site and have not yet registered to become a member, your use of the Website is still subject to the Terms of Use; if you do not agree to the Terms of Use, do not use the Website. Once you register with us we consider you a "member" of the Half Our Deen Muslim Matrimonial service. You must pay our fees as per our posted fee schedule(s). You may select the particular membership plan that pleases you.

B. Your Information. When you register on the Website we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information about yourself including, without limitation, your name, email and zip code. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy for clarification on how we may use your information and other information that you may provide or submit while using the Website. You agree that all your information that you provide to us or post on the Website is complete, accurate and up to date. You will notify us of any changes to your information.

C. Passwords. During the registration process we will ask you to create a password. Because any activities that occur under your password are your responsibility it is important for you to keep your password secure. Notify us immediately if you believe that someone has used your password without your authorization.

D. Photos Please keep in mind that although this is a Muslim Matrimonial website, we would like to forewarn you that some users may have pictures where they may not be wearing Hijab or proper Hijab. We understand that some women choose not to wear Hijab. Although we highly recommend all of our users to follow Islam and dress accordingly in any of the pictures they post, we cannot force them to wear Hijab for their pictures because we feel that it would be deceiving to our other members. With that being said, we advise both men and women who are serious about finding their other half, to keep their pictures and content Islamically appropriate. As a reminder to all of us, Allah (swt) is watching all of our actions (online & offline), so please behave accordingly. Half Our Deen reserves the right, to delete any picture or content, at its own discretion, without the approval or consent of the member.

3. MEMBER CONDUCT
A. The Website contains areas that enable members to communicate, share information and interact with other members through posting or sharing of content. When you use any part of our website you may have the opportunity to disclose or post to publicly accessible portions of the Website, or share with other members, information and other content. Information you post on the Website and that you provide to other members will not be considered within our control. By accessing our website you agree: 1. Not to impersonate anyone else or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity 2. Not to provide any content that encourages a criminal offense or violates the rights of any party 3. Not to participate in any unauthorized or unsolicited promotions, advertising or otherwise use the website for commercial purpose 4. Not to violate any applicable local, state, national and international law 5. Not to interfere with, interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of the Website 6. Not to use other member's personal data for purposes other than establishing expected contact 7. Not to try to gain unauthorized access to the Website, other member's accounts, or computers connected to the Website 8. Not to post telephone numbers, URLs, email addresses and sexually explicit/obscene/indecent content in content that is publicly accessible on the Website

4. PROPERTY RIGHTS The Website (and all of the material that it contains) is owned by Half Our Deen or its third party licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws throughout the world. Nothing found on the Website may be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, sold, licensed, transferred or modified without the express written permission of Half Our Deen. In addition, the trademarks, logos and service marks displayed on the website are the property of Half Our Deen or its licensors. UNAUTHORIZED USE, COPYING, REPRODUCTION, MODIFICATION, REPUBLISHING, UPLOADING, DOWNLOADING, POSTING, TRANSMITTING, DISTRIBUTING OR DUPLICATING OR ANY OTHER MISUSE OF ANY PART OF THE WEBSITE IS PROHIBITED. Nothing contained in the Terms of Use or in the materials on the Website should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any license or right to use any material in any manner without the prior written consent of Half Our Deen or such third party that may own the material or intellectual property displayed on this Website. In addition, use of the content or materials for any purpose not expressly permitted in the Terms of Use is prohibited.

5. AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES
Half Our Deen has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or storage of any messages and other communications maintained or transmitted by or through our Website. We reserve the right to change our practices, services, tools and policies at any time, in our sole discretion, with or without notice to you.

6. SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP RULES
As stated herein, you must be at least 18 years of age to use our site or become a Member of our site. Parents may register on behalf of their children. All members must be Muslims (مسلم), that is, faithful adherents to the religion of Islam. All members seeking to meet other members for the purpose of considering marriage must be single; they cannot be married or separated. Even though Islam does allow polygamy, Hal Our Deen doesn't allow polygamy or seeking of a 2^nd, 3^rd or 4^th wife, due to the laws of the land the business is established in. Parents may register their single children for purpose of seeking appropriate mates for their children. No member may have a criminal record that consists of any felony conviction or crime of moral turpitude, or are may be someone who has been required to register as a sex offender. While we do not regularly conduct criminal background checks on our members by reviewing public records, we reserve the right to do so without providing any prior notification to you or any other member.

7. MEMBER PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
The member profile must be accurate and up to date. Any photographs posted must have been taken within the last 12 months and must accurately reflect the member. All member profile information must be clearly stated, completely accurate and free of any information or statements that are false or misleading in nature. Parents who are representing one or more of their children by creating profiles for their children must also adhere to these requirements. Only one profile/membership per person is allowed and as such, all profiles must be unique in nature. Members may enroll ONLY if they are seeking potential marriage partners in good faith and for no other reason.

8. LINKING TO OR FROM OUR WEBSITE
You cannot link to our Website without our prior written consent. While our Website may have links to the websites of other companies and parties, Half Our Deen has no control over those websites. Half Our Deen is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, services or other materials on or available from those websites. Half Our Deen is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any content, advertising, products, services or other materials on those websites.

9. TERMINATION/CANCELLATION
You may terminate your registration/membership at any time by (MY ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > CANCEL ACCOUNT). The cancellation of your membership or ceasing all use of our Website is your only remedy with respect to any such dispute that you may have with us. We will attempt to process all cancellation requests within a reasonable time frame. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you are not in compliance with the Terms of Use, we reserve the right to terminate your membership and/or usage of our site. We do not issue refunds for cancelled memberships.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:

12. INDEMNIFICATION
You shall indemnify and hold harmless, and at Half Our Deen's request defend, Half Our Deen, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents and owners (each, an "Indemnified Party") from and against any and all claims, proceedings, damages, injuries, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees, an allocation for in-house counsel, and other legal costs) arising out of your acts or omissions, including claims resulting from your use of the Website, your submission, posting or transmission of information or Content, or any breach of your obligations set forth in this agreement. You shall reimburse each Indemnified Party on demand for any costs, expenses and liabilities incurred by such Indemnified Party to which this indemnity relates.

13. Notification of Claimed Copyright Infringement
Pursuant to Section 512(c) of the Copyright Revision Act, as enacted through the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, HalfOurDeen.com designates the following individual as its agent for receipt of notifications of claimed copyright infringement.

The Terms of Use, your access and use of the Website and Services and the relationship between you and Half Our Deen is governed by the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions. Half Our Deen and you both agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California. You are responsible for complying with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Half Our Deen shall have the right to commence and prosecute any legal or equitable action or proceeding before any United States or non-United States court of competent jurisdiction to obtain injunctive or other relief in Half Our Deen's sole discretion. Regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action by you arising out of or related to use of the Website or the Terms of Use must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.

Half Our Deen prohibits the sending of junk e-mail or spam. Unsolicited commercial advertisements and/or the request of sending money are not allowed in e-mail, and will result in account suspension or cancellation. Any member that is caught in doing so will be subject to pay a fee of $100 per spam message sent. By agreeing to these terms and agreement, you give Half Our Deen the right to charge your account $100 for each violation. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any length of time.

Our goal with Half Our Deen is to do everything Islamically, and if anything good is gained from this Muslim Matrimonial site then it is only by the mercy of Allah (swt), and if there are any shortcomings, then it is from us.
